Since May 25, we as a B&B entrepreneur also have to protect the personal data of our guests. This is stated in the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG), which applies throughout Europe.
WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT AND FOR WHICH PURPOSE?
* Passport and personal data.
If you book with us, we must check your passport upon arrival. We are obliged to do this.
We record your first and last name, m / f, date of birth, place of birth, document number, date of issue and validity of the document. This data is via an intranet system, which is secured with a certificate to gain access including user name and password. The data is entered online and sent to the Polizia di stato in Terni. We have no further insight into what they subsequently do with this data.
The data that we have transferred will be destroyed and not saved.
* The data from the booking form
We use this to be able to draw up the correct invoice and to be able to submit a declaration online.
Asking for address and place of residence gives us insight into where our target group comes from. That way we can respond better to targeted promotion.
We ask for a telephone number so that we can contact you should anything happen. This information
* Personal data is also requested, if you want to receive the free inspiration travel booklet, you want to ask us something via the contact form or if you want to ask us something via the chat. This to be able to answer your (application) question.
* Email addresses
Whoever has been a guest with us automatically receives a newsletter from us. For some promotions (exhibition promotions, free inspiration travel guide and the like) you give permission to be on our mailing list. You are of course free to unsubscribe at any time. Under every newsletter we send you will find a link to unsubscribe.
STORING OF THE DATA
The data obtained and all invoices sent are stored securely in our computer. Invoices are kept in the computer for 7 years, for possible checks by the tax authorities, among others.
We use careful security procedures for the protection of the processed data, among other things to prevent unauthorized access to this data. The website is secured with an SSL certificate.
None of the personal data provided will be provided to third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law.
We have no influence on cookies from Facebook, but since people sometimes ask to share pages on Facebook, Facebook may be able to keep track of which pages you visit on our site. We believe that this keeping up can not hurt.
We use Google Analytics on our website. This tool keeps track of what visitors to our website do. For example, which pages you have looked at, how you surf on our site, or how long you have been on a page. We use this tool to collect anonymous data from visitors. For us, this anonymous data is very important because it allows us to see whether our website is functioning properly and where there are any bottlenecks, to gain insight into how our website is used, which pages are being surfed and which are not. We do not use this data to, for example, compile a profile of your internet use and we do not share this information with other companies or third parties
You can unsubscribe from Google Analytics via this link.
